Hey, has anyone tried a 2.5mm cable with JHs? I really hate the termination compared to 4.4mm and JH don’t offer it for the 4 pin connection. Just wanting to know how sturdy it feels.
I got mine reterminated from to 4.4 by EA. Great connection, but not life changing changing in sound. Mine is 7pin though.

Does JH not offer a 4.4mm stock for 4/7 pin? I thought they would by now.

Seems like it’s only for 7 pin :frowning2: I could get it re-terminated.

I agree the sound isn’t much different, just a way better connector :)

I have a Moon Audio Black Dragon 2.5 mm balanced cable, going to 4-pin at the earpieces, and it sounds marvelous with the Roxanne and my CEntrance balanced BlueDAC and balanced HiFiM8 V2. I also have a black dragon cable adapter/pigtail to use them with a 3.5mm single ended amplifier.

But the Roxanne really need just the right amp to handle the complex crossover's impedance characteristics to sound exciting, and if I just use an Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter they will sound a little bland out of a iPhone, vs using iPhone with my Encore Hi-mDAC 3.5mm output via a USB-C to lightning data cable from Penon Audio.
