Hey guys, I found a really nice deal on Amazon for ATH-A900X's, for 170 new. 
 
It says "Japan Import" as well. Is this some sort of scam/different than the ones if I purchase of of audio technica's page on Amazon?

Usually it just means it's an A900X coming from a Japanese retailer.  As long as the seller has a high rating, it should be okay.

It seems more common now for Japanese retailers to sell stuff on eBay and Amazon.
I've ordered a couple of JVC headphones from Japan, worked out fine.
