so I've moved house and the setup is very different. Taking the time to reconfigure a bunch of stuff and thought I'd ask for help/opinions.
I have a small PC with a large hard drive. Lotsa MP3s on it. In the near future will probably have a lot of FLAC on it. AV 710 installed with Itunes 6 and Foobar 0.93. Kernel streaming works, but I haven't configured the Itunes frontend/Foobar playback hack yet.
My question is this - if I use the hack, can I output the Foobar stream to an Airport Express ? Would it make a difference ? Can Itunes, thus hacked, recognize FLAC files and output them ? Is there a better way to manage/output my audio files to the quite distant speakers ?
