Abstract:
So, I decided to have a healthy "midnight" snack of Muscat grapes. They are my favorite fruit by a large margin. However, I noticed that my mom had placed a large bunch of them in the refrigerator uncovered. Having worked part-time at a late-night cookie delivery service (Mrs. Munchies... Berkeley only, sorry) I know that it is important to cover the dough to prevent unwanted smells and tastes infiltrating the food. After one grape, I was reasonably sure the taste was off. My mom said that there was a fresh bunch of grapes that were sealed, so I set up an A/B test. Unlike A/Bing interconnects and power cords, this test was resoundingly conclusive.
Results:
Grape A tastes slightly fishy and is somewhat flaccid.
Grape B tastes like a grape, and is turgid.
Rankings:
1) Grape B
2) Grape A
Conclusion:
1) Always cover your food!
2) Grapes are yummy!
