Currently using a PL-30 now...
 
Previously had an AL UHP336, but broke...
 
Would the Meelec A151 be a suitable upgrade over these two IEMs?

I have the E30 waiting to review, which are the upgrade of the PL-30 I believe. I'll let you know my thoughts as soon as I feel comfortable giving thoughts on them!

Quick impressions on the E30, which I believe replaced the PL-30, is that the E30 have a fantastic sound to them, absolutely stunning. It's not better than the A151, but the A151 isn't better than the E30. I feel that they each will suit a different ear. The A151 have the E30 absolutely crushed in design/comfort though.
