I bought the m-50s two years ago for $130. They have been good headphones albeit lacking some clarity and punch. Two years ago, the fidelios were $300. Now the fidelios are $125, making me think they are a steal at this price range. I am asking if the fidelio l1 is an upgrade over the m-50 in sound quality. I listen to Yanni for example. Sometimes I listen to lopez's songs, too.

I wouldn't buy the L1. I bought the L2 and send it back because I liked M50 sound better. The look good but sound...
