Hi...im new here so not really experienced. I want to ask if shure se 215 special edition is a good choice. I like a lot of bass but dont wish the bass to sacrifice the treble mids and highs. I like pop music (maroon 5) and songs with great bass impact. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thx :D

SE215 SE is solid, but if you are a bass had that wants beats level(quantity wise) bass, turbines(better bass then beats, not more) are good as well.

Ive tried the se 215 special edition and think that their bass is quite powerful enough... So i dont think i would like more bass. However, are the highs and mids still good with the se 215 special edition?

forgive my noob question...but what is a v-shaped in ear monitor?

No, but seriously, it's when the high frequencies and low frequencies are attenuated rather steeply so that the resulting graph looks like a "V".   Decades ago, we used to call it "smiley eq"

, which is now considered a "u".
