Comfort is a big thing for me. I want to be able to forget i am wearing headphones. But when it feels like the headphone is trying to compres my head its hard to forget. So i tend to stretch headphones i get namely the m audio q40 and yoga 088/hm5. Now i got to thinking is the hard clamp part of the design to fit smaller heads or is it part of their sound. I dont make them totaly loose. I mean I can shake my head around and they dont move around at all.  I just loved the pillow like pads on the yoga just out of the box it felt like the pads were being crushed.

Got to be careful depending on the material of the HB. The steel HB on my HFM is fine to stretch. About 30 seconds and now it fits like a glove. Plastic or synthetic is a different story though. It will have a limit before it breaks.
