Hello, my iPod Nano 4gen just passed away and I'm thinking on getting a new portable music player.

I've heard about the Wolfson vs Cirrus Logic audio chips and all those things but I don't know how the NWZ F806 compares.

Which one do you suggest?

I have all 3 so I can tell you the the F806/807 SQ is the best out of the 3, especially with FLAC.  However, it's analog LOD is rather weak.

Yes, the line out is weak but the headphone output on the F807 sounded great.

Yep, just make sure you balance the F's volume and the amp's because you will be double amping.
