I have an ipod classic 6 and every time I try to play a song from the artists playlist, it skips over about 3 songs and then plays the song by the artist I want. What should I do? I only use mp3, AAC, and lossless files.

I have a feeling something is wrong with how the songs loaded onto your device. Maybe you could try deleting the songs on your ipod and use itunes to reload. That should help. If not, you could use the restore function in itunes to bring your ipod back to its original settings.
