Some comparison with 1000 DUNU please?

Thanks!

If you give me some specific points you want to compare, I can do a comparison when I get home tonight (it will be against the prototype Atlas I was sent - but AFAIK tuning hasn't changed).

Here is a rough and ready graph taken from Veritas.  It is raw data - so no hrtf or equal loudness calibration or compensation.  All it will show you is the comparative measurements.

DN1K is in blue, Atlas is red.,  I'm pretty sure the filter was the yellow - but may not be accurate as this was a prototype, and filters weren't colour coded at that stage. The two actually have very similar bass response, but the Atlas has a little more impact and sounds deeper. Vocals are also a little more forward on the Atlas.  Atlas sounds more V shaped, DN1K is still moderately V shaped but has more overall balance.

Apparently my Atlas are on their way - so I can repeat this when I get the finals.

Both sound excellent BTW

Has anyone put the Atlas up against the DN2K?

I know it's not exactly the same, but I'm wondering if they can take out $300 competition. I LOVE my Atlas, and don't remember walking away with that feeling with the DN2K when I tried them last spring.

Wait till you try FLC8s

not to say Atlas is bad.FLC8S is another level with 36 tuning configurations

This is not FLC8s thread. However I encourage everyone to look at FLC8s. 36 sound tuning configurations with the capability to rival against the DUNU 2KJ, Noble Audio Savant, Shure SE846, Fidue A83, UE900s. Cheers.

I've got both. Both are fantastic phones, but d2kj is better across the board. atlas get more time though.
