I’m getting a bit desperate. My weird ear shape prevents me from just going by reviews and ordering an IEM that I might like, there is only one store in all of Austria with a small selection of IEMs and the next one is in Germany.
So far I have ordered and either sent back or sold:
- Sennheiser IE600, too long.
- Monarch MKII, could even get close to inserting it into my ear, even without any tip, the nozzle is just enormous
- U12t, stem is way too long and hurts
- Linsoul KZ x Crinacle CRN, the very pronounced shape just has too many pressure points, specifically the one in the back of the casing.
- Sony XM4, couldn’t find a good tip (original or aftermarket) that wasn’t too large and hurt after a few minutes
I can’t just order any one in ear custom, because I would need to try anything first for the sound, but I’d have to order most models from the US or Asia and pray. Is there any one individual in Austria, preferably around Graz, that has a shared interest in this topic and maybe a small selection to help me narrow things down?
