Yes, the IEMatch works and you can sometimes find them for $35-45 used.

Yes, they work. I simply bought some of these simple adapters on AliExpress and they work flawlessly.

There was some discussion on if the 4.4 was the best choice for all iem’s. Seems like the 3.5 depending on amp and iem used is a better choice. I was going to order the 4.4 but got the 3.5 after researching the differences. Here is a link to a discussion on head fi along with tech notes from iFi.

Yes, I've done this exact thing. 4.4mm iemmatch and one of these: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256...2iD7nib&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa&_randl_shipto=US

I would only recommend the iemmatch for this. Every other product puts the resistor in series with the earphone which changes the response of the earphone.
