Hello,
Can someone explain a Newbie, once and for all, which app(s) is/are necessary to have a bit-perfect output both from the iPhone as an iMac 24.
Android, you just get something like UAPP or Hibby Music and you are set. For Apple ecosystem users the information doesn't seem to be very clear, especially for newcomers in the Audiophile world as myself.
for now I'm using Apple Music (as I have a 6 months free trial period) but I plan to use Qobuz in the future. I was not keen to pay for a Music Player app since I don't have a big Library and wouldn't need a specific app to run / organize it. Nevertheless if that would improve the SQ in the end I wouldn't mind to pay a little more for it... but ideally if I could skip that expense, the better.
