I believe it was the middle of the year to the third quarter of last year, my best guess, those that are on the latest firmware can give you an exact date, at the moment I am not.

It was August 2023. Mine has been very stable, but I use mostly Roon (where the Tidal Max issue has been solved, including the merging of subscription tiers into one single mode) and USB out. No operational issues.

Are you experiencing the current Roon Tidal issue where it only plays 44.1 on Hi Rez albums?

The latest firmware solved that problem. However, I had to sign out and sign in again from Tidal in Roon to get it to work
Ah I see, Just did the same and now Max is an option!

now I get disconnected from Roon here and there
I've had this issue with ZS and Roon for the better part of a year after a Roon update. I recently updated Roon to 2.0 (Build 1401). So far I've not heard any dropouts. I suggest you update both the current software.

Not exactly sure what happened to my Zen Stream, but here goes:
It was working fine (I use an ethernet connection and only with Roon). My Roon suddenly would not recognize my Zen Stream. I did the "2 second reset" and went through the setup. For some reason I cannot access my Zen Stream through a browser. Only through the iFi App on my iPhone and that is inconsistent. When I do connect through the App I try to go through the Set Up Wizard. I can't even get all of the way through and I get disconnected. I don't know what happened? It seemed to be working well for quite some time.

By chance is the right LED (white) blinking or solid in state?

Also...

Make sure you are in AIO mode #1 on the back, try a different browser to try to access ifi.local.

You can try setting up the Zen thru the app/hotspot method (not my personal favorite) if none of these work, a green light indicates you have local network connection but not network (internet) should be white.

Please open a support ticket using this link, they can supply you with current "refresh tools" that may help as well...

Last thing you can try doing the reset one more time by following (Exactly) this post...

After that just follow along with this video... (Wired only is best practice) Then setup wifi when verification all is well.



P.S. You may want to also reboot your modem and computer running Roon, I have had the Zen drop out of Roon and a quick restart solved this for some reason.
