C'mon man, don't tell me they have Deadheads falling for this crap too?I’m debating a Nova to feed my PowerStation from the wall, but I dont need such a long cable. Has anyone compared the Nova against an audioquest NRG-Z3 or anything else in the $150-$250 price range?

If I only have one of these supanova cables and both a headamp and DAC that could take it, which would benefit more?
Your DAC should benefit from any power components more and in large part because it comes in before amps and cans/speakers. What DACs make is then amplified, so in that sense what they make has to be really good to not bottleneck components downstream. In short, we agree @SurgeTO

Ordered my third supanova cable. Say what you want, but if you need to feed something directly from the mains, it doesn’t get much better than the supanova. It removes a lot of that digital harshness and it sweetens the mids, just a touch.

Exactly, that's the effect of noise reduction. Most manufacturers do it via passive means in their cables (shielding, geometry etc.), but our approach is active and I'm happy to read that it works for you. Thanks a lot!

Planning to upgrade from the stock power cable on my Musician Pegasus (feeding a Burson headphone amp), should I go for the Nova or Supernova?

Do you have any sort of ANC built in to your system? If you don't, I would suggest going for SupaNova!

As per what @Sebastien Chiu suggetsed, SupaNova would bo more for you. But you could also take a detour, get yourself our PowerStation with our noise-cancelling tech inside and condition power feed to all products connected to it

So there is no case to be made to just get the regular Nova cable? I beleive I have clean power in the house.

There is if i.e. your budget is below PowerStation's or SupaNova's prices, or if for some reason you do not wish to have any active power components in your setup. Nova is our introductory power cable that gets the job done against stock power cords, so that's the product to look into if one wants to go beyond these and not spend too much. Hope this helps, thanks!

I own five iFi SupaNova cables, but I've never tried the Nova. No offense intended to iFi, but the main reason I like the SupaNova is the active noise canceling and surge protection that's built into it. If it didn't have those features, I doubt I would have bought one, let alone five. I don't think there's anything intrinsically special about the cable material or its composition. So there is no case to be made to just get the regular Nova cable? I beleive I have clean power in the house.
So a Nova is basically a SupaNova minus the active noise canceling and surge protection circuitry. Is it worth $169 USD for the cable without those features? I can't say from experience, but I'd encourage you to look at your options.

That's correct, yup!
I don't think there's anything intrinsically special about the cable material or its composition.
Although our ANC circuit built into SupaNova significantly contributes to the overall performance of that cable, its conductors and especially balanced geometry play their part too. That's why Nova cables are quite the step up over regular power cords, or at least that's the feedback we got from many happy cutomers

It's OK, that is a good reason to like this product

"For its construction and for the technology included, the SupaNova compares favourably to cables at multiple times its price."

I have been using DC Blocker for some time connected to my Niagara 1000 powerstrip IEC inlet. For periods having it connected and some periods not in use. What i notice in my system when in use, the sound is sharper and cleaner but at the expense of being more sibilant with sharper ssss in vocal and to edgy at times so i can think it sound more natural with out it but more veiled. Maybe one to many veil lifted. In use my oled TV gets better picture with cleaner and sharper picture with less background noise so i am really happy with that change.
How much ampere normally a tv and headphone system used at same time could use in real world listening? Dc blocker Its rated at 7A continuous and 10A short term peaks. I hope the cause its not a matter of its resticting current to my Niagara 1000 rated at 10A.
Maybe when i start trying ifi acpurifier in my system and ncf furutech clear line that sibilant im hear gets remedied and new powercable + filtered powerstrip for router/switch side instead of the generic power strip in use now there.
