First post here. I think, it's been a while at the very least. My question to yall is this: I work in a noisy dental laboratory. I wear headphones for 6-8 hours a day. The last pair I had (vsonic GR06) I bought last July and already the left speaker failed. I am kind of hard on them, they get caught on things sometimes and when not in use they just sit on my bench.
I am looking for a durable set of headphones. I listen to a few audio books but mostly rock/metal (dream theater, muse, etc) and I like a decent pair with good kick and clarity. The room I work in is loud so I like a set that can handle higher volumes. I am currently using the headphones that came with my Galaxy s5 and they are giving me headaches because the hard shell is too big. I was hoping for something that fits this list:
~50-80 dollars (maybe more? sell me on them)
Good noise isolating.
Very durable.
Pretty comfortable.
Would like 'dangling' coards. Not a fan of over-the-ear type
Good kick and clarity, even when loud
Some smaller things would be a 90 degree plug and volume/pause controls on the cable. Can deal without those though.
