A friend of mine is willing to go up to £130, she's after an iem with a tight slamming bass and good sq to go along with it.

Im currently thinking atrio m5 or something from sennheiser, any other suggestions?

How much did u pay for IE7?

you are gonna be very happy with it btw...its not mentioned much because of IE8's flagship status..but its one of the high end iems.

IE 7 don't cost a lot in the UK. About £120 can get you a pair from a good source like play.com

For years we had to pay a lot more for stuff in Europe compared to the US for years, so I guess it is fair we get some stuff cheaper once in a while.

erm 1 uk, not really europe. 2 its only sennheisers we get cheaper, everything else you get waaaaaaay cheaper


but yeah IE7 or IE6 (supposedly has more bass) is probably the way to go

She bought them from amazon for £115 in the end, i just hope she'll love them, she has shure se210 but is fedup with cable issues and lack of bass.

wow im happy with the bass in the new se115's and for only $70, but i still ordered the turbines and ill get them in 2 more days and i hope ill be happy with them.

@OP. Good job you didn't go for the M5, I founs it's bass wet, squishy, bloated and not at all firm and precise. A fun phone though.
