Since reinstalling my WinXP, many fonts are super fine in IE now... for example, below the main thread titles:

These show up super tiny in 1400x1050 on my 14" laptop.

I know Netscape has a Font Size and DPI adjustment, but I can't change anything in IE, can I?

Why would you use 1400 x 1050 on a 14" laptop...

But anyway, view => text size

Usually if you hold down the control key and use the scroll wheel on your mouse you'll be able to adjust the font size up and down.

Of course, on head-fi it doesn't change the body text of the posts, but it does work on the other parts.

Hope that helps.

IE doesn't scale fonts as well as Firefox. Actually, WinXP doesn't scale fonts well at all.

I use Avant Browser, a browser add-on to IE. It has a magnification function that works well to make text larger.

If you're running at 1400x1050 on a 14" screen, WinXP standard settings are going to make most text very small. One solution is to change display settings to 120dpi.

My WinXP display setting is set to 185 DPI, and it's still not scaling some of the fonts.

Changing Text Size in IE only scales some parts of the text:

I basically need to run hi rez because of editing large digital images, and need to have the resolution.

The thing that gets me is that it WAS scaling things before I reformatted my hard drive. Maybe it's because I've loaded a newer video driver.
