I am on the hunt for a pre-loved set of Audeze LCD-3's.
One of the questions I had was, "How do you tell if an LCD-3 is a Fazor variant or not?"
I got a quick reply from Audeze customer service that I thought I would share here for the benefit of the group and for Google to find in the coming years. I know someone else is going to ask the same question some day.
Audeze says, "If the LCD-3s serial number starts with 27 or 28 it has Fazors. If not, it doesn't (unless the drivers were repaired after Jan. 2014)"
