I have been checking around for decent, affordable meeting space in the southern Westchester area and have found space at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains, NY for November 20, 2010, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
 
If there is enough interest I will book the room.  I will consider it a go if I can get 20 people to commit but we should be able to accomodate about 70.  The space is about 1500 square feet.
 
I know this is around Thanksgiving but that might work to the benefit of some of our college age members.
 
As usual, attendance is free but your donations are appreciated and we will look for auction item donations from members and vendors.

White Plains? sure I'm in, I like taking 287 and avoiding the Cross Bronx and GW. Although some might find White Plains a bit far from L.I. Or the City, but since I come from Pa. It doesn't matter to me.




Too early to tell what I'd bring, possibly a Schiit System, who knows Nov is a long ways away.

Actually White Plains borders Harrison to the west so it's not really that far from the last two fall meets.

About 40 minutes.  We'll have to work something out for transportation to and from the train station.  It's not that far but maybe I can shuttle people with my minivan.

We always take tons of photos but check out the meet impressions forum.  There are already threads from previous meets there - ours and many others.
 
And just so you know, in terms of traffic you don't have to go through the "belly of the beast" driving to White Plains from Pennsylvania.
