So does anyone know how the cue sheet function works on this?
It seem that iBasso bumps up the bass after each firmware update, I think they should go back to 1.1.7 bass and just add a bass boost control in the music player instead so to accommodate each user preference without installing firmware:
When you go to your audio file, and try the play the whole single file, then revert back to the main player, you still don't get a CUE button that appears in the top right?! Weird.

There is a button which looks like the file button on the left, but it only displays separate song titles from files which are already separated. It doesn't show the song titles from single files with cues sheets.
For the case, I found a Nintendo DS case working great.
But, well, let's go to the point of my post.
I've been wandering around this thread for a while now and I can but think you all (or, at least, the great part of you) have a twisted idea of sound quality. I found the last firmware being absolutely muddy and quite unlistenable (after dealing with it for about one week, so it's not a first impression) so I jumped back to 1.2.7. However, it's to say that the overall sound quality of the DX100 is not that astonishing thing you all talk about. Soundstage is very constricted, high feel grainy and a bit harsh (and right know, while writing, I'm listening through Audeze LCD3... not the brightest headphones out there), and the background is far from being the blackest black some of you talk about. The fact is that ES9018 is not that top resolving DAC many here say it is, it lacks in various aspects, one of it's main weak points is the soundstage.
However, I'm happy with my DX100, thinking I've taken it mainly to use it as a transport for my DAC+Amp setup, and it's nice to have the possibility to listen to my power hungry headphones while walking around my house thank to the powerful amp the DX100 has, and however it has a better sound quality than all the other DAPs I've tried in time (however the C4 has better soundstage and blacker background).
I just want to make clear to everyone interested in buying the DX100 that with it you don't get an all-resolving-hifi-device-with-over-the-top-sound-quality-bla-bla-bla as most people here are saying. You just get a good DAP with the possibility to use it as a transport. And this possibility is the only reason why you should buy this DAP instead of a cheaper one.
Not to change subjects here, but has anyone compared this to the ak100, im really impressed with both and i want to get one or the other this summer after saving a few extra hundred.Im not really seeing any comparisons, and no i did not read all 700 pages to find out. thanks for the input in advance.
