T
I've only had mine for a couple of days, but I did have an occurrence:

I was going from a high res, 96/24 file, to a redbook file.  The redbook file started playing at high speed.  I rebooted the DX100, and then the redbook file played normally.  I have not been able to duplicate this, I chalked it up to a freq occurrence.

For my case, I don't reboot rather I just pause, then just open the SRC option and select a different SR then go back to native play.

You don't have to reboot..

Just go into the sampling settings (SRC?) and change it to the actual sample rate of the song playing and then change it back to native play and it should fix the issue. :)

Thanks!  If it happens again I'll know what to do.

I emailed iBasso to ask them if the DX100 supports ReplayGain, they answered back that it does not.

Recessed mids?

I play the DX100 through JH16a and the JH3a+ JH16... never heard recessed mids in all my music.that might be an issue with the particular DX100 unit. It definetly is not a systemic issue.

My DX100 is in the shop to have the Wifi fixed... man I miss that thing. Listening to a friend's HRT HeadStreamer at the moment and sure, it's a nice little clean sounding unit but it lacks the refinement, soundstage and especially bass that the DX100 is capable of.

Edit: Just got an email from Ibasso that my DX has been fixed and is on its way back to me now!

Dx100 sounds very neutral on its own, but it's sort of mid recessed compared to lots of other DAPs.

so far DX100... I hope 901 can keep up with it because it's smaller. I don't use DX100 a lot recently. The size/battery is still a problem. I will just bring my rockboxed IPC with my JH16 and EQ them to a similar SE5 or NT6 sound (sound signature wise, not technically).

Yeah I carry around the DX100 plus T1 but I am wondering if rwak100 plus.intruder or international would not be equivalent in sq but more convenient.

I have read several reviews, and people have been saying that ak100 doesn't sound as neutral as DX100, although it's smaller. It really depends on what you looking for, if you can give in some SQ, it's probably a good option for you.

T1 as Tesla? or the CIEM T1?

Your problem sounded a lot like mine...however my auto-rotate screen has been off since I got the DX100 :frowning2:

I also have auto-rotate turned off but I've noticed I can reproduce this stopping/starting phenomenon consistently. When my dx is in my coat pocket if I put my hand on it then remove my hand (drawing my fingers over the back of the unit as I withdraw my hand) it stops/starts. If I let go the unit it doesn't do it....weird. This is with a hibeno silicon case on it , if I remove the case I can reproduce it but it takes more effort. Seems to me it's the accelerometer and turning auto-rotate off does not completely disable it.
