Been lurking and reading for the past two weeks. I used to have the original Maxxed out home from headroom ~2000. Since then my two channel speaker system is my predominant listening. I am now looking for a portable amp that I can take on trips with my denon c700 and something that will sound good at home with those or my hd580's.
Little Dot seems like the best sounding amp which will work at home (due to standard charger) and work on the road. The ibasso seems like it will do at work (due to the dac and USB charging) and on the road but not sound the best between the two. My other option is a used Hornet at around $250 but if I can get in at $150-175 then so much the better. Another option is to I look at the ibasso for work/road and then look at a different Little Dot for home system when I have more $?
Has anyone compared the ibasso boa to a little dot mk1?
