IBasso Audio IT03
Sep 26, 2016 at 11:18 PM Post #271 of 3,344
I will reserve my main and final impressions of the iBasso IT03 until I have given
them a decent listen over a period of time.

Until then I will say I have enjoyed them so far, but it is the early days and the details of the actual performance of the IT03
will eventually reveal itself after some time of concentrated listening.

I shall not rush with with my conclusions.

What? A voice of reason?

I'm truly stoked to receive the IT03 soon (hopefully this week). With the recent comments by respected members of how it stacks up vs. the A91 and Andromeda, they speak volumes of what the SQ may be like. And I already thoroughly dig the A91 after less than 2 weeks of ownership. Can't wait to get it.
hi there, im consider them as my next iem. Where do you buy them? And how much do they cost?

Im finding it  quite difficult to fault them ! There is nothing specific, although 1 or 2 'aspects' need considering but . . .
It would be a bit like having a go at a puppy for loving life

I'll try and calm down :) Just blew me away the difference after the right tips and something magical happening after 100 hours burn in

do these perform with a particular genre over others?

For me, I don't find it matters. I have always said that a "good" transducer will produce any type of music well, if it is designed well. I find that very true with the Focal Utopia and I have found a type of music that does do great with the IT03.

Can we please cool it with the superlatives and hyperbole. Statements like 'they are the best' and 'they are definitely TOTL' without any justification/specific comparison whatsoever serve little to no purpose in helping others understand why they are so highly regarded. Help us by explaining why you like them, not just telling us so 1000 times over and over again.
