I have 60$ in amazon credit. I have a Clip, D2, and an A728.
what's my best bet?
I listen to rap + metal. I don't want something that needs to be amped.

rap + metal? Sounds like the Grado SR60 has your name all over it. or the SR80 if you're willing to throw in a few extra dollars.

i know amazon giftcards work with some 3rd party sellers, but not all. i'm thinking store credit would work the same way.

just wondering, are the Audio Technica ATH-AD300's good? I'm hearing that the higher end ones are very comfortable and good, and I have just enough to buy them.

x2 on the Denon AH-D1001s.

They're closed, and keep sound out, but don't really isolate very much. They sound great, and they're often hailed as the most comfy cans.
