You know im just moving up the chain....first its this, next i just have to have a bithead for my laptop...then after that going to have to make the move to balanced desktop....then sell off my kidney and pick up the max setup with DAC.

very much...just got her plugged in and popped in my one of my favorite CDs, House of the Holy (Zepplin)

Sounds nice so far...alittle smaller soundstage it seems smaller....

Im using the 12FK6 tubes and they really bring a nice brightness to the 650s. No more bloated bass THANK GOD....

Tyll chime in and let me know what the differences are.

Its lush, alot more smooth then i thought.

I didnt want to lose all the warmth of a tube but wanted to tighten up the bass. The amp is really sounds excellent with guitar and vocals. Bass is tight, but hardly a thump to it...granted im using medium gain with the volume turned up a tad more...i havent tried the high yet...was giving it a few to warm up the tubes.

Mids seems much more apparent, highs seem more detailed bass seems to lessen compared to my DV 336i. Its almost alittle muddy...bass seems not as deep tone.

also, i didnt notice any misspelled words on the millet =)

I demand that Tyll makes me a plate that says..

" Headroom Desktop Mullet Hybrid Amp "
