I've been running my Fostex Hp-p1 for 18months or so now and am wondering if portable iDAC/Amps get any better in terms of overall sound quality.
I'm using Focal Spirit Classics and T-Peos Altone 200 IEMs.
I'm not adverse to using a 3-box rig but am aware that the CLAS is no different to the AK DAC in the Hp-p1. The headphone amp would have to be a massive step up from say the CLT720 or the HiFim8.
Any ideas?
