Ok, i just recently got kernel streaming to work on my system with the av-710 except the sound is outputting through the green port not the black one that the wolfson dac outputs to. my settings: digital out selected, auto sample rate, pcm only. Why isnt it outputting to the black port? Do i have to mess with the jumpers?

Edit: oh yeah, im using the via v.5.00 drivers

yeah i did what Breez posted in the second thread you posted about getting the wolfson to work without using hi res mode, but its not working for me. sound is sill outputting through the green and not the black jack.

Well the DAC (black output) will work with "Hi res" or "2 channl", but in "2 channel" only Wave Out works with Foobar. KS will only work with Hi res. That's the way it's working on my system.

You might need different (earlier) drivers. I'm using 5.12. I think there was some take about older drivers working.

i tried it with the 4.51a drivers and it didnt work. what version do i need and where can i get it?
