How to delete the database in the X3 disk?

1. Please connect the X3 with your computer via the USB cable first, and find the X3 disk in the computer after the X3 has been regconized.

2. Double click the X3 disk to enter the X3's internal memory. On the pop up dialog box, please go to Tools—>Folders Options—>View—Advanced Settings,
then choose "Show hidden files, folders, or drives". Meanwhile, please uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)", in order to display
all the files in the X3 disk. The attached picture (Windows 7/8) may be helpful, and kindly note the related content in the two red boxes.

3. After the second step done, you will find the database file called "usrlocal_media.db " is shown up, then kindly delete it.

4. Disconnect the X3 with the computer, and please remember to update the library manually. This operation can help create a new database file (usrlocal_media.db)
in the X3.

Note: It's suggested to restore the default setting in your computer about Step 2 after you have deleted the database file, in order to avoid deleting carelessly other important operating system files.

James.
Then following your directions, you help to recreate a new database, deleting the current one, and scanning all the files from the scratch to create a new one, correct?

Thanks !!
