I recently ordered and received a CablePro Reverie Mini-to-Mini from HeadRoom, and one mini-jack end has some kind of clear plastic/silicone wrapping around it (I'm assuming the source end connection), while the other mini-jack end is unwrapped/uncovered.
Would it be correct to assume that the wrapped end is plugged into a line-out from the source, and the unwrapped end into an amp or etc? Thanks!
Btw, so far using this cable as an upgrade from a stock generic FiiO mini-to-mini with my HP-P1 -> SR-71, the soundstage and detail has been so significantly improved that it almost sounds like I'm listening to speakers rather than headphones (w/ Grado HP2.) It's pretty crazy actually.
