Home-Made IEMs

The modules are the same principle as the front ventilation of dynamic drivers to avoid the suction or flex drive effect. They have the advantage of being removable. On IEM that does not have a module, the filter (mesh) is fixed.

The Knowles damper are not filtering enough I think unlike the mesh filter to set the bass management.

Purely based on the two graphs I would suspect the blue to be better. However, I think green probably will sound more likeable to me personally.

Interesting.:)
So you can tell if it reverse polarity based on graph ?
And what is the purpose of reverse polarity?
I see some people do , and some don’t.
Yes you can tell if polarity is wrong because the graph will appear "notched" as above. If you are listening to it, it will sound as though a parametric filter is on it. The reason is the two drivers are out of polarity acoss those frequencies, essentially fighting/cancelling each other out in that band....hence the notch. Sometimes they don't cancel, dependent on the driver, and if a crossover is used, and of course polarity. In those cases you don't have to do anything....

Ok,thank you .
Let me show you some pics of setup of that blue graph

Heres some pictures. I feel it’s something wrong.

Def you have to switch green cable of the 2389 to the other pad - leave the yellow at half coil as is just move the green one to the other side
I still don’t get it what is half coil ? And why do half but not full coil?
🙂
And I think i use bad program for measuring:frowning2:

I did switch green wire here
