Well, I got confirmation from support that this is the old original (high gain) standard amp which was delivered initially with the Hifiman HM-801.

I ordered my Hifiman on 25.09.2010 though ...

I received my Hifiman HM801,yesterday,from a German dealer, www.mp4audio.de.
There is a guarantee card,with α 10-9 on top,and No 00036.
So,I ask,if this Hifiman,is a new one,or a old one,wanting update.
Can you please,answer me?
I live in Athens Greece.

I wonder about the Model No too ... since mine had a 00011 (... and I got mine in September this year ...)  ... can't believe they sold only 36 pieces until now ...

OK,but what about my question? Is it a new version,or has I to send the module for upgrade?
Anyway, thank you all, because reading your posts,I decided to invest in this great stuff, which gave me a lot of pleasure, from the first minute I heard them.

Well, I asked the same question ... tried my luck here and with customer support ... but no unambiguous answers so far ... I capitulate for the time being...

That's the power amp module, designed for full size headphone and one of the two amp modules that comes with current HM801 if I am not mistaken.

Anyone can help, thank you

Not really sure what you talk about so...

IIRC, the original STD card and the 2nd STD card looks the same as above, but use different opamp. OP275 in the original and OPA2107 on 2nd.

Then power amp module (same one in your picture) is included with the 2nd STD card. Later batch has two power amp modules (also look the same as your picture), one on high gain and one on low gain (there are stickers on the back of the module).
