Hello,
 
My current earphone is Westone Um3x and I am using it since november I think.. However, it seems now little boomy and muddy to me. My dap is Hm 601, I love it, dont want to change. I am planning to buy a W4R or Heir 3.ai in order to get less boomy sound and much detail.
 
What are you suggestions about this situation?

Westone 4R are great buy and they offers more balanced sound without being bassy with increased details in highs and wider soundstage(highly recommendd). but if you upgrade silver dragon cabe on UM3X then it will increase the soundstage and less emphesis on bass with better details.

I already have a silver cable made by audiominor/turkey (you should try his products, you can find him at ebay), Although I got it , I can not reach to my exact sound desire. But I am afraid not to get enough bass from W4R...
