Hey everyone, I'm new here.
I've ripped all my CDs to flac, and listen to them on a pair of UE TF10s. I use my HTC Rezound(Vigor) as my DAP via Poweramp. I think I get good sound, but I want to squeeze every last detail out of my recordings and iems. UI, video, images, and capacity are no concern for me I simply want to achieve the best audio quality.

Is this a good setup? If not, will a higher quality dap really bring out more detail?

I've got a budget of about $500. How best to spend it? Hifiman, Cowan, Sony etc?

Get the JH5 Pro or Westone AC2.
