I've posted this before. My 13 w.p.c. Dared 300B mono blocks sound significantly better than my 100w.p.c. S/S Adcom. Size doesn't always matter. Quality not quantity.
This is what I'm wondering about the new Schitt Lyra. They built it specifically with Orthos in mind (glad they are trying to stay ahead of the curve, plus it makes good business sense). However, is 6 watts coming out of a headphone jack going to do them justice? I'm really happy with what I am hearing out of my Luxman jack, but I'm sure it's a volt or less, and even though it sounds good, it sounds much better out of the Dareds. I am hoping that the Red Wine 30.2 30 watt integrated speaker amp I'm waiting on, will do it justice
