I just received a pair of Brainwavz HM5 leather pads I bought from Mp4nation. They are really good! They go for something like 20 shipped IIRC.

Well i find it amusing how u guys are battling it out which pad is best..i for sure am not stepping into the fight as i found my bliss padswise..completely handmade....but it has cost me...as i had to buy a complete headphone with it to get them

About grilling..or open grills..thats so last year!.. :veryevil:

And if i am not mistaken..back in the days of old victorian england people used perfume to camouflage how bad they smelled...and it was generally accepted that u threw out ur poop out of ur window onto the streets back then..well..then..i prefer to be here with the nitwits of audio then being on the court of what u mentioned..hehehehehe

You should hear it with the HD800.....by far the best combo I have heard to date.

Not that I doubt, but I thought the Fosgate didn't deliver very much power? My gut tells me we want a little more than that with the HE-500s.

Unless my amp is wired weird, the Fosgate had a crap ton of power for both of my orthos. I'm not even halfway on the dial (around 11-12 o'clock) and it's very, very loud.

No, that's my bad, it seems it's 1w @ 30 ohms. In skylabs review he mentioned figures of 165-250mw, but that was into 600ohms.

That amp should give the HE500 nice punchy bass from I've heard.
