Hard case for Editions
In case anyone was looking for one, this one with a little efforts fits snugly.

The EDX cups only fit perfectly if the cups are together in the centre. The case has a raised centre section, otherwise the sides of the case are too shallow.

Thanks, you did not unmout/unscrew the headphone - just made made an additional fix

No video, sorry.
it was a while back, instructions are in the link.
I used an old leather jacket, cut the piece. Using a pry tool, I carefully slid the end plastics down. they have catches on short sides, be careful, and they are tight!
Once you slide them down, just use some thin double sided tape to fix the leather to the assembly .
the leather should be only very slightly shorter than the headband in your hands. Once you put the headphones on your head, the leather strap gets pulled, and gets lower.
To go back to assembly, you need to carefully slide the end plastics back up. The tightness of the fit, holds the leather in place.

Haven't tried it, but I doubt it works. That's for the round earcup HFMs. I also have a 400i and can say it's headband won't fit my XS - trust me, if it would fit… it would sit

unfortunate thing happened to my dekoni earpad today ..... when i tried to clean it , its so much harder to take off compare to original pad, and the plastic broke...
already asked around for some solution, but still want finding easier way to fix .... does super glue like loctite can do it? or maybe someone have 3d print data for it?

i think with even with double tape i can put it back on and feel nothing change, but the problem is if i want to take it off again it might get worse...

it is ok.
if the leather is fine, just use it, one clip cracked is within norm.

No. But the HEX v2 its father was not as bad as the current pig HFM's such as the 500 or 6. Might work, but, not surprised if not.

It was just ok....I still prefer high impedance cans with OTL amp. I prefer my XS being driven by my other discrete amps.

I would like to ask if there is a optimal position for the placement if the XS on your head? Like as the ear cups are so large, I could manage to get a best fit when my ears are located at the lower end of the ear cups. but according to theory, your ear should be placed right at the Center of the diaphragm. Does my weird placement affect soundstage or increase bass(I think it does?) thanks.
