Yea, I wanna replace my first generation total airhead with something a bit better.... but I have been out of the loop for soooo long that I do not know what the current wisdom is on battery powered pocket amps. Could someone enlighten me about the current, up to date basics on small battery amps that can be easily bought, for under $300 usd? Thanks!

I've got very little else to do between November and March and I like spending time on Head-Fi. So long as my wallet hides it's not too bad.
