Pretty sweet. How much did those cost you, and what kind of wood are they?

I don't agree, I think they look nice, the only thing I don't like is they look just like any number of other hhf-1's.
Aside from the homemade woodies and the zebrawood/ebony(my personal favourite) ones I couldn't pick out another pair that stands out.

I hate Larry

I get my HF1s all done up with the best options and get them home and THEN he adds the wooden tips as an option

No seriously those look like you have gone for the deeper cups, with the standard cup I can't see how anyone would think they look anything other than better than the straight up HF1s.

I would imagine the wooden tips could be ordered and then installed by you.

Very nice cans. Makes me want to order woody cups for my HD600s.

Which wood is that? Paduak?

You are entitled not to like the look, but getting the woody mods is NOT just about the look. The mod improves the sound significantly. So it is STILL about the music!

But I freely admit I LOVE the look. Canuck57 welcome to Team HHF-1!

Pics like thoes make my wallet cringe.... if only, if only, if only... if only I could justify sending my SR-225s to larry and ordering the woodie cups for my Senn HD-650s are on the way.... oh well maybe i can convince friends and family to give me the money

Yes I knew that but I was just having a little fun in case Larry pops in and reads the thread

I've got 3 sets of headphiled cans so far and I've emailed him re some Zpads and the wooden tips.

I may as well have my employer deduct straight from my salary to Larry
