I want to make a mod to my HF2s.  To do that, I need to pull the cups apart.  But the cups are glued in pretty well to the wood.  Without damaging the wood, how do I get the cups apart?  I'm not sure a hair dryer is going to work here.

It seems there are 2 variants of the HF-2 as far as glue is concerned. One uses hot glue, the other wood glue (which does not melt) good luck.
 
On that note, if you have any thoughts of selling them, I would caution you against it.

Thanks for the info.  I think I'm looking at wood glue.  As for modding these HF2s, if I decide to do it - and am successful - I won't want to sell these.

how about hot water bath solution?  submerging 3/4 of the cups on a lil amount of hot water
