Does this name ressemble any band/musician anybody know?  Heard a cool song, but didn't note down the name and forgot it... Google is failing me... It was a guitar heavy song, mainly guitar, I think on of those guitars with a curved back and bit bright sound? Damn, don't even know the name of the type of guitar...

My god...  This forum hates Firefox4... Please disregard the first dea and last I... I meant to type... Idea?   It was a definitely a type of rock song, not too heavy, but it definitely had this clean, prevalent guitar, pretty much non distorted, pretty clean tone...  Definitely very 'twingy'...

Not really familiar, however I am guessing that your name Jeff Lonfgren isn't quite right.
 
Jeff Longren doesn't provide any guitar hits (sorry for the pun) , so that name isn't it.  Jeff Lofgren and Lonergan similar result.
