Hey, this plug is from my brother's power chord to his Dell laptop.

If someone can identify it, and possibly get me a link where I can buy one (just the plug) and make my own cable.

think its dell properitary, not sure. the dell ac adapter i use for my t amp looks the same

Check with Radio Shack, They have an entire display of different power cords.

No, almost all laptops use that.

I thought that was a fairly standard plug end. Check at a big hardware store for replacement cords for things.
