Budget - I am pretty flexible here, as long as I can make it make sense to myself. But lets say 600

Source - Gaming PC

Requirements for Isolation - Anything will work.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No

Preferred Type of Headphone - Full Size

Preferred tonal balance - Mostly well balanced. I enjoyed my 6xx and my T-X0 a lot!

Past headphones - AKG 7xx ( one cup louder then the other), Senn 6xx(One cup does not work at all), Fostex T-X0(current)

Preferred Music - I listen to everything.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - New Amp and DAC, combo is fine. As my Audio-GD NFB-11 is messing up and on the way out. Something that will allow me to use my Eddie Current ZDT JR also.

So I am looking for a new amp and dac for sure. The T-X0 are still working well and I really enjoy them, so I don't have to upgrade. I have been looking at possibly sending them to modhouse. If I was to do this I would need a set to use while they are gone.

What would you all suggest for a new amp and dac setup? Should I just buy the nfb 11 again?

I'm on a Topping A30 Pro and E70 Velvet DAC on a sine wave power supply plugged into a Febsmart 2 port USB PCIE card and it's flawless. The L70 is just as good and a match for the E70. I just like the A30 Pro since it has full power on all headphone connectors and great for Beyerdynamic and others where balanced cables aren't an option. I'm on a gaming PC also, with the USB card down against the heavy shielded side of the power supply which pulls air through the bottom vents. I literally couldn't ask for better. The D30 Pro matching DAC is also just as good, but they're out of production and hard to find.

Topping DX5 is pretty solid: https://amzn.to/3TP51OB
I just got the Hifiman EF400 and it's a very solid piece of kit as long as you don't need any wires beyond the power cable - normally $600, but currently $400: https://amzn.to/3Sb6L3m
A lot of people like the Fiio K9 as well, though I could never get it working with my computer: https://amzn.to/47BlysM
Hope that helps a little
