USB DAC Cable with Mini Plug 33'' (100cm)

10068_0.jpg

The cable uses Texas Instrument's 16-bit PCM2707 USB DAC receiver which sends the digital data to the Wolfson WM8740 high-end DAC. The ultra-low noise AD8656 is used to buffer the DAC.

Digital and analog power paths are separated for minimum noise. The cable can even be used on noisy USB ports (hubs) and it will still provide noise free sound!

• PCM2707 USB DAC Receiver
• Wolfson WM8740 High-End DAC
• Analog AD8656 Ultra-Low Noise Buffer
• Low Noise Voltage Regulator
• Separated Analog and Digital Power Paths
• Low Distortion Capacitors in the Audio Path
• Ultra Small Circuit Board (32x10mm)
• Cable Length: 100cm (40'')

Clever idea. Gonna get one of these, as my school laptop doesn't have any working audio outputs + portable amp

That is what I call a compact DAC.

many portable headphone amps have female mini headphone jacks for input. I am sure you can order it with different connection options.

Duh on me! I was thinking this had the amp too... nevermind...

To feed the analog output into a suitable portable amplifier I suppose.
Most of them have a 3.5mm TRS input jack.
