I have 3 headphones, the Sennheiser HD650, the Sennheiser HD 590 and the Audio Technica ATH-W1000.
I am using a Yamamoto HA-02 headphone amplifier.
None of my headphones can come close to even the cheapest JMR speakers when it comes to musicality, organic sound and timbre.
Does anyone know of a headphone that has the same sound qualities as Jean Marie Reynaud speakers?

JMR = yummy.  if i were in the market for a pair of commercial speakers, it would probably begin and end with JMR. 
 
your question is a tough one though.  what do you find lacking in the Yamamoto/HD650 pairing?

The one thing that really needs improvement is timbre.
The music lacks the feeling of being alive.
