I wouldn't say brainwashed. She only found out about them a day or two ago. But when you have people telling her they're "teh b3st hedphnez everrr!!!!111!", combined with the fact that she likes how they look, it's a difficult position.

I think the AKG K141 is one of the sexiest headphones and they actually look better when worn.  Check out the Bon Iver videos on youtube of him singing with them in the studio.

I think generaly girls like Solos look and they sound good but other headphones like Phiaton MS400, P5, M80, ATH_ES10, DT1350 and JVC onear with NC are recommended. BTW is she interested in IEMs and i think you can find some amazing sounding IEMs under this budget for her.
