La la la... I've haven't posted here in a really long time.. and for good reason

I've finally found my "ideal" setup and haven't felt like changing since...

I've owned everything from the NAD C541i to the Meridian 588. Amps from the Meta42, PPA, Emmeline II Stealth, HR-2. DACs from ART DI/O to the Bel Canto DAC2. Headphones from the Bose QC2, Etymotic ER-4S, Senn HD600/650, Stax Omega II, and more. And cables ranging from Cardas Microtwins to Zcables.

About 2 years and $10,000 later, I find this to be my best buy for the money and performance. I ditched everything else because I wasn't satisfied with my "dollar investment."

If you wanna have a sweet setup that sounds nice at home (w/o a computer), and can be taken on the run, this is the way to fly

What's here?
=============
Ipod - $300
Sik Din - $20
ER-4P + Adapter - $260
SR-71 - $400

Cost of happiness= $1000

so does this mean you're going to sell your HD650's with the silver dragon?

no?

damn

actually, that setup is about the same as what I hope to work around to pretty soon here. However, I'm going to go with a supermacro instead of the SR-71.

After running around the bush for a while and trying several low to mid priced sources, I second going back to where I started.

A pdcp (w/mp3), and Ety 4P/S.

I add the RA-1 and Grados at home.
