I've alway's been happy with my 009 / BHSE, but not with all the songs I have in my collection, but since using the PH's all the songs I listen to sound amazing, including Peter Gabriel's " SledgeHammer " and " Big Time ".

I love "big time"  - im gonna listen to that now

Tube rolling made dramatic changes in my RSA B52 and Pinnacle (for better or worse depending on the tube), so I would assume the same would be true for the BHSE.
(And I love the PSvane 6ns7 in the Pinnacle.)

I wouldn't necessarily call this tube rolling (in the traditional sense). It's more in line with what Rico posted, 'find the weakest link in the system and fix it'. The PH/BHSE combo are an end-game for me. It's not like every time I listen to my system, part of the process is figuring out which tubes to use each time (what flavour am I into today). At this point the only other tube I would consider is an actual Philips metal based. Of course, I would also welcome some other manufacture trying to duplicate the metal based tube - nothing wrong with some competition. I do get your point though

Today I received the second quad of Psvane EL34PH tubes to use with my BHSE . ( I ordered the second quad for if or when something happened to the first )
I tried them out to make sure they worked OK, and like my first quad, they turn my 009 / BHSE into easily the best SQ I've heard from a headphone / amp combo. Headphone Bliss.

Me too - got mine yesterday. Dated 20140120 38mA.
 
My first quad probably have around 1700-1800 hours and still going strong. Both sets sound pretty close, although the second set needs to open up a bit.
 
Shouldn't be too much longer for the next batch of BHSE to start shipping.

not yet. if i was doing them one at a time i could be, but it would take months to get through the batch that way (while at the same time ignoring everything else i have to do). so i decided to wait for the last batch of panels, which i highly doubt will arrive tomorrow as we're about to get some rare heavy snow, but once i do have them i will be laser engraving all the colors and installing them onto the amps and then testing them

Despite this being clearly not your fault, don't be surprised when Paypal sides with the dummy just for being the buyer.  A lesson I've learned selling over the years: idiots do idiotic things.  Try to be more selective in who you sell to if possible.

didnt arrive due to snow, even though the anodizer is only 120 miles away. hopefully will be here monday.
