In your opinion the HD650's Cardas cable isn't a match made in heaven then?

Speaking for myself, I heard the cardas unbalanced on my HD650s at a meet recently, and I didn't totally like what I heard. A bit excessive in the treble, but clean and sharp, and a bit of a hollering quality in the lower midrange.

I didn't like the unbalanced Silver Dragon, but I think that was because it had a short. It was much quieter than the Cardas, something of a tipoff. Gpalmer will fill in the details that I forget right now....
